1. Who we are

This website (seandwyercoaching.com) is operated by Sean Dwyer Coaching (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

We are the data controller for any personal information you provide through this site. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information we collect

We only collect personal information you give us directly, plus a limited amount of technical information from your browser. Specifically:

• Contact details — name, email address, phone number (if provided), and any message you send via our contact, coaching enquiry, or newsletter forms.
• Quiz answers — if you complete the programme quiz, we store your answers along with the email address you provide so we can send you a personalised recommendation.
• Order details — when you purchase a programme: your name, email address, billing country, and a record of which products you bought. We do not store your card details. Payment is handled by Stripe (see Section 6).
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referrer. Collected via Google Analytics 4 only if you accept analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

4. How long we keep it

• Order records: 6 years from the date of purchase (UK tax retention requirement under the Limitation Act 1980).
• Marketing list / newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
• Lead capture / quiz submissions: up to 24 months unless you become a customer.
• Contact form messages: up to 24 months.
• Analytics data: as configured in Google Analytics (default 14 months for GA4 user-level data).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the third-party processors that are essential to running this site:

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the UK / EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

6. Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, CVC, or expiry date. Stripe’s privacy notice is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.

8. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
• ask us to correct inaccurate data,
• ask us to delete your data (subject to our retention obligations above),
• object to or restrict our processing of your data,
• withdraw consent at any time (for marketing or analytics),
• request your data in a portable format,
• complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk — though we’d ask you to contact us first so we can put things right.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, store passwords in hashed form, restrict admin access, and apply security updates promptly. No system can be guaranteed 100 % secure, but we take our obligations seriously.

10. Children

This site and its services are not directed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.
